Reporting to the South Cone Finance Senior Director, the applicant will support FP&A activities within South Cone market, contributing to to develop annual plans, forecast, analyze trends, create metrics and perform analyses to support business decisions. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have the demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business and other functions.

Essential Functions,

• Provide financial planning and analysis support to South Cone Region as a member of a Team focused on budgeting and forecasting Payments Volume, Gross Revenue, Contra-Revenue, Net Revenue and Expenses.
• Prepare comprehensive variance analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual basis, explaining the key drivers and storylines affecting outcomes. Track year to date and monthly performance by Sub-Region, Country, and Cost Centers to understand variances and analyze business drivers of the same.
• Participate in the production of the key business drivers (e.g. volumes, transactions, etc) for use in strategic planning, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting as well as on monthly variance analysis
• Participate in the forecast and budget process for the geographies, ensuring all finance business partners and cost center managers process their inputs and analytics in compliance with published deadlines and corporate guidelines. Build, improve and maintain operating and financial models considering South Cone market challenges.
• Support decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance

-Manage cross functional & geography expense planning - Build and maintain relationships with cost center managers to ensure they are aware of budget forecasts timelines and data requirements, and understand the need to adhere to them.

• Liaise as the “single point of contact” for Visa South Cone to other corporate Finance departments such as Global Revenue, Global Tax and Controllership, escalating and resolving local team requests and concerns that may require further support

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

• 7-10 years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, or related quantitative field
• MBA a plus
• Strong business acumen, multi-functional business experience a plus
• Demonstrated program leadership capabilities to drive key financial processes
• Outstanding modeling, analytical and quantitative skills, able to identify and model challenging business problems with well-structured analyses and quantifiable financial impact
• Advanced application of pivot tables, macros and formulas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and produce time sensitive deliverables
• Fluency in English and Spanish required
• Python for Financial Data Scient is a plus
